This maquette for a projected relief on a large scale was inspired by the Biblical quotation "I shall gather you from the four corners of the world" (Isaiah 11:12). It shows the Messiah drawing unto himself the Jewish people from the four corners of the world. Waldhoped to get a commission to model this work to full scale in Israel. He sent a photograph of this maquette with a proposal to Yad Vashem but did not receive any reply. The proposed scale of the relief was 20m wide and 7m high.
